Aberdeen NSW is known for being the birthplace of the Blue Heeler dog and the Gateway to the Horse Capital of Australia. The surrounding area boasts fine wineries and many renowned horse studs. Joining the attractions in the region is Artemis of Aberdeen, situated on the main road between Graeme and Moray Streets.
The gallery features work of many genres and is proud to present the work of Lisa Cross, a respected photographer, DJ Stief whose work is in private collections in seven countries, and the talented Janelle McGrady, an Aboriginal artist of amazing skill.
Artemis of Aberdeen recently celebrated it 2nd year of operation. During that time we have had the privilege of exhibiting some amazing talent, both established and emerging artists.
DJ Stief, the resident artist, continues to develop his exceptional talent. Having completed 2 180 cm portraits as well as continuing his predominant love of white on black drawings.
